"WOW!! It is hard to believe this is the first book I have read from Milly Taiden. By the way if you have not read any of her books, well then you are missing out. This book was super hot. I just loved the characters in the story. I listen to the audio while following along in the ebook and the narrator did a wonderful job. The thing I loved about the narrator was she done an amazing job pulling you into the story. Listen to her you were able to feel the emotion the character felt and I loved how she was able to change her voice with each character.
I normally start talking about the main characters but I think I will start with Gerri Wilder who was Tally’s neighbor. This woman ran a Paranormal dating agency in her home. She had a way of reading you and see who she felt you should be with. I loved how she truly caries for her clients. In the story you will see her show emotion listening to Tally’s story.
Tally had pretty much given up on love. I felt sorry for her. She had this terrible ex and it seems that he did not get the memo that he was no longer part of the family. Yeah I would hate to go to family functions to run into my ex with another woman on his arm.
I loved how Nita’s solution for Tally was to go talk to Gerri Wilder and have her fix her up with a man. I wonder if Tally would of done just that if she would of know what was in store for her.
When the 2 main male characters were introduced, well lets just say they took my breathe away. Connor and Theron was super hot. One had the biker thing going on were the other looked more like a business man.
I wonder if Gerri already knew that Connor and Theron was going to come to her for help on finding a mate. It is almost like she has a foresight about things.
Tally had a wedding to go to and I loved when she found out who her date or should I say dates were. To expect one man and end up with two. Lucky girl. I loved how this ate at her awful ex.Yeah I did not like her ex at all.
I so loved Tally’s grandmother in this story. She is the sweetest thing and thinks the world of her granddaughter, Tally. I also loved Nita who was Tally’s cousin. Tally was so lucky to have these two amazing people in her life.
Things will get hot and heavy in this story. Tally will find that she craves Connor and Theron more then she could ever dream. She does worry about one or both of them tiring of her. She fears putting her heart on the line but it is hard when she has two wonderful wolf shifters swooning you.
I loved when Tally met Connor and Theron’s pack. This will be a make or break moment. I truly hated Keya who was in the pack but like Aura. Tally will have a decision and will have to listen within to do the right thing.
This was a great story and glad I got a chance to read it."

- Ouch. If you would like a textual version of male focused porn, then this is for you. The guys are really quite sleezy, saying they "need to wear down her defences" so they can boink her. And indeed there is a subtly *date rapey* vibe when they do get together. The first guy does her and it's painful, but she loves it. Um, NO. Painful sex sucks. And the other guy blows all over her chest and she rubs it all over. Um, yeah, no. Besides in porn, this isn't like, cool. You get sticky goo all over, and it gets crusty and gross.
The author likes the phrase "chunk of hair" as in "He grabbed a chunk of hair" and all I could picture was like, a chunk ripped out in his hand - gak!

This was a great story and glad I got a chance to read it. - Stories where the main characters, who we are supposed to like, frequently scream, yell, and tell people off in front of others just don’t do it for me. Especially when everyone around them congratulates them on how awesome they were. It just seems immature and something I’d associate with high school or grade school. I can deal with a lot of fantasy in the story line but I want characters who handle situations with a bit more sensibility and don’t have to grandstand for attention. The bad guys or story jerks can act that way all day but not the hero/heroine. The rest of this was fine and it’s a short story (148 pages) so if you don’t mind characters like that, it may be worth your time. For me, the .99 and the time I spent reading it were both better used elsewhere.
- I guess the best I can say about this is that it was a cheap thrill? I have yet to read anything from the "fantasy romance" genre that was any good at all. And I like fantasy, and I like some romance.
The erotic scenes were ok as erotica, but the limited dialogue was worthy of a middle school english class (X-rated content aside, of course). The emotional development of the characters resembled the flipping of a light switch and also managed to be implausibly contradictory on the female's side (she's been told she's aggressive/bossy? By whom? Mice? She let's everyone else run her life)
Also, while this appears to be a first book, I must be missing some other book that does world-building because why is everyone cool with modern day life where of course your neighbors happen to be shifters, NBD!
I sort of understand the place of shifter fiction in romance. It seems to give an acceptable domain where people(ish) can be super aggressive in dating because of fate and literal animal needs, etc. It works in fantasy, so I get why it sells. I don't really care for "alpha" personalities IRL, major turn off, so I can pass on this genre for that reason too. - it's really and i mean REALLY steamy yes but the story around it is captivating and is fully part of the book not just an excuse. Also a good dose of Humour ( i so loved grandmother Kate she had me laugh a lot) and some too sweet parts made me spend a wonderful time.
Talia is partly insecure because of her ex who somehow managed to make her a stranger to her own family when he is of all the parties....that's why she is terrified to go alone to a wedding she can't miss, after some thoughts she decide to ask help of her neighbour, an older shifter in charge of a paranormal dating agency.
Surprised she doesn't end with one but two date each one more gorgeous in his own way because Connor and Thero must be part of a Triad, they feels each other feeling ( thanks to Connor my favourite) but they are not in love with each other, Talia becomes their third, the center of their universe in a sense.
It has action, passion and the jerk get what he deserves so it was definitively worth reading^^ if you are looking for a really hot erotica romance with menage pick this one
